ION reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone who doesn't conform with these Standards of Professionalism.
Upon acceptance, New Members are notified by e-mail. Standard service areas in the USA, 75 miles by 75 miles in size with
the members address in the center. ION Members can tailor the shape of their service area(s) when joining or after becoming
a member. Each standard service area in the U.S. covers at least 5,625 square miles. Service area units in Canada are entire
provinces and in all other countries, they are the entire country.
The cost of ION Network membership in the USA is $150 U.S., per year for a standard service area, 75 miles by 75 miles in size. Larger
service areas can be purchased at the rate of $75 per year per 25 mile diameter increment.
Membership in all other countries is $75 per year.
Contact information for Network Members is immediately available to potential clients and members pay no referral fees for
cases received through ION's Automated Online Site. Investigators who are not ION Members must agree to conform with
ION's Standards of Professionalism and pay a referral fee before the online system will send them the contact information
of potential clients interested in possibly hiring them.
The original ION phone based referral service is not membership based. It is separate from this automated online service.
Telephone referrals from the ION office are allocated on a suitability and merit system and no one pays to be on the list of
who gets called. All referrals received from the ION office that do not come directly through the ION Automated Online Site to ION
Members are subject to a referral fee. By joining ION, you eliminate referral fees on all cases received through this
automated system.
